The Janitor

Typical Troma-style fare, The Janitor crams a cheap morality tale in between bad over-acting, over-hyped nudity and tons of cheap gore.

Lionel, a greasy hulk with a monosylable vocabulary is The Janitor, who - during his life of disrespect as a custodian, commences a killing-spree of laughable proportions. In the first two minutes Lionel is literally pissed on and sets the pisser on fire. Things go way downhhill quickly, with a cameo from Troma chief Lloyd Kaufmann (who apparently can’t act either) among other ignominies.

A question is raised; will Lionel redeem his bad-self by getting a job cleaning a sorority house full of half-naked babes or will he continue ripping people’s guts out and tearing off their arms?

Obviously it doesn’t matter and no-one should care, but you can thank the writer for at least cranking out a really good laugh every fifteen minutes or so between all the amateur lunacy.

Ladles of fake blood later, the much ballyhooed nudity arrives, and like everything else in this type of movie fails to live up to anything except being vaguely disappoinitng.

If you like this stuff, (and if you do you know not to expect a masterpiece) the only thing that will bring you down is The Janitor's bloated running time and surefeit of toplessness.

And they say America is going to hell.

I'm sure not all janitors are this disagreeable.
Cheap effects and enthusiasm.
It's really not worth it.
